Clear Terms for a Trusted Publishing Experience

Last updated: August 2026

Welcome to Classpedia Publishing. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Classpedia Publishing website, PublishSpace, Classpedia Marketplace, publishing and distribution services, and other related services provided by Classpedia Publishing (“Classpedia,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

By creating an account, submitting a manuscript, purchasing a service, or otherwise using Classpedia Publishing, you agree to these Terms.

Eligibility

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use our publishing services.

If you are using Classpedia Publishing on behalf of an organization, publisher, company, or another individual, you confirm that you have the authority to act on their behalf.

Your Classpedia Account

Certain services require you to create an account through PublishSpace.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and current information
  • Keep your login credentials secure
  • Update your information when necessary
  • Notify us of suspected unauthorized access
  • Accept responsibility for activity conducted through your account as permitted by applicable law

We may suspend or restrict accounts that violate these Terms, applicable laws, or our platform policies.

Manuscript Submissions

When submitting a manuscript, book, cover, illustration, or other material, you confirm that:

  • You own the content or have the necessary rights and permissions to publish it
  • Your submission does not infringe another person's copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights
  • Your submission does not contain unlawful or prohibited material
  • Information provided about the book and its authorship is accurate

Classpedia reserves the right to review manuscripts before approving them for publication or distribution.

Submission of a manuscript does not guarantee publication.

Ownership of Your Work

You retain ownership of the copyright in your original work unless a separate written agreement specifically provides otherwise.

By choosing to publish or distribute your book through Classpedia, you grant us the permissions reasonably necessary to prepare, display, reproduce, distribute, market, sell, and otherwise process your book for the publishing and distribution services you select.

Specific publishing and distribution rights may be further defined in your publishing agreement.

Publishing and Distribution

Classpedia may make approved books available through the Classpedia Marketplace and eligible third-party distribution channels.

Availability on individual bookstores, marketplaces, libraries, retailers, or other platforms may depend on their own requirements, policies, territories, formats, and approval processes.

Classpedia does not guarantee that every book will be accepted or remain available on every distribution platform.

Publication Review

Submitted books may undergo a review before publication.

We may request corrections, additional information, formatting changes, verification of rights, or other modifications before approving a publication.

Review timelines are estimates unless expressly guaranteed under a separate written agreement.

Classpedia Marketplace

Authors may make eligible books available for sale through the Classpedia Marketplace.

Book listings may display information including:

  • Author or pen name
  • Book title and description
  • Cover artwork
  • Pricing
  • Categories
  • Publication information
  • Ratings and reviews
  • Other relevant book information

Classpedia may establish reasonable marketplace standards relating to listings, content, pricing presentation, promotions, reviews, and customer experience.

Royalties

Eligible authors may earn royalties from qualifying book sales according to the royalty structure applicable to their publication.

Royalty rates may vary based on factors including:

  • Sales channel
  • Book format
  • Retail price
  • Printing or production costs
  • Distributor or retailer fees
  • Taxes
  • Discounts and promotions
  • Refunds or chargebacks
  • Other applicable transaction costs

Where Classpedia advertises royalties of up to 75%, “up to” represents the maximum potential royalty under eligible circumstances and does not mean every sale will generate a 75% royalty.

The applicable royalty calculation will be displayed or communicated through the relevant publishing plan, agreement, or PublishSpace account.

$250 First Publication Bonus

Classpedia may offer eligible authors a $250 bonus on their first successful publication, subject to the eligibility requirements of the applicable promotional program.

A successful publication generally means a book that has completed the required submission and review process and has been approved and published according to the applicable program requirements.

Additional eligibility criteria, payout timelines, geographic restrictions, verification requirements, or promotional conditions may apply.

Classpedia reserves the right to reject bonus claims involving duplicate accounts, fraudulent submissions, manipulated transactions, or attempts to misuse the promotion.

Sales and Payouts

Authors can use PublishSpace to view available information regarding book sales, royalties, and upcoming payouts.

Payouts may be subject to:

  • Minimum payout thresholds
  • Identity verification
  • Tax information
  • Payment-provider requirements
  • Processing periods
  • Refunds and chargebacks
  • Distributor reporting schedules
  • Applicable fees and taxes

Sales information from external distribution partners may not appear immediately because reporting schedules differ between platforms.

PublishSpace

PublishSpace provides authors with tools to manage aspects of their publishing journey, which may include:

  • Uploading and managing books
  • Tracking submission and publication status
  • Managing distribution
  • Monitoring sales and royalties
  • Viewing upcoming payouts
  • Accessing publishing assistance and tools

Features may be added, modified, replaced, or discontinued as the platform evolves.

Publishing Services

Classpedia may provide optional professional services including:

  • Book editing
  • Book formatting
  • Cover design
  • Book illustration
  • Audiobook production
  • Book marketing
  • Author branding
  • Author website development
  • Other publishing-related services

Prices, deliverables, timelines, revisions, and service-specific conditions may be provided separately when a service is purchased.

Fees and Payments

Certain Classpedia Publishing services may require payment.

You agree to pay all applicable charges displayed or agreed upon when purchasing a service.

Prices may change from time to time. Changes will not normally affect services already purchased unless otherwise agreed or required by law.

Applicable taxes, payment-processing charges, or other fees may be added where required.

Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation and refund eligibility may depend on the service purchased and how much work has already been completed.

Certain services may become non-refundable once work has commenced, files have been delivered, distribution has begun, or third-party expenses have been incurred.

Any applicable refund or cancellation policy presented at the time of purchase will form part of these Terms.

Author Responsibilities

Authors are responsible for ensuring that their books and submitted materials comply with applicable laws and do not violate third-party rights.

You must not submit content that:

  • Infringes copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights
  • Is unlawfully copied or distributed
  • Contains illegal content
  • Misrepresents authorship or ownership
  • Is intended to defraud or deceive readers
  • Contains malicious files or software
  • Violates applicable platform or distribution-partner requirements

Content Removal

Classpedia may reject, suspend, or remove a publication when reasonably necessary, including where:

  • These Terms have been violated
  • A credible intellectual-property complaint has been received
  • The content violates applicable law
  • Ownership or publishing rights cannot be verified
  • A distribution partner requires removal
  • Fraudulent or abusive activity is detected

Where appropriate, we may contact the author before or after taking such action.

Third-Party Platforms

Global distribution may involve independent bookstores, retailers, libraries, payment providers, printers, marketplaces, and distribution platforms.

These third parties may have their own terms, content requirements, pricing rules, processing times, and policies.

Classpedia is not responsible for actions, outages, policy changes, delays, or decisions made independently by third-party platforms.

Intellectual Property

The Classpedia name, Classpedia Publishing brand, PublishSpace, website design, software, graphics, platform features, and other Classpedia-owned materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Nothing in these Terms gives users ownership of Classpedia's intellectual property.

Your ownership of your original manuscript and other author-created materials remains subject to Section 4 and any applicable publishing agreement.

Privacy

Your use of Classpedia Publishing is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal information.

Service Availability

We work to maintain reliable access to Classpedia Publishing and PublishSpace but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

Services may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, technical issues, third-party services, security requirements, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Classpedia Publishing will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar losses arising from the use of our services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold Classpedia Publishing harmless against claims, damages, liabilities, and reasonable expenses arising from your violation of these Terms, infringement of third-party rights, or unlawful use of our services.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes to our services, policies, business practices, or legal requirements.

The updated Terms will display a revised “Last updated” date.

Where required, we may provide additional notice of material changes.

Termination

You may stop using Classpedia Publishing according to the conditions applicable to your account and publications.

We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of violations of these Terms, fraud, unlawful activity, security concerns, non-payment, or misuse of the platform.

Certain provisions relating to payments, intellectual property, liability, disputes, and other obligations may continue after termination where appropriate.

Governing Law

These Terms will be governed by the laws applicable to the legal entity operating Classpedia Publishing, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your jurisdiction.

Any applicable jurisdiction and dispute-resolution provisions may be further specified in your publishing or service agreement.
